Operation Gambit: How Wargaming is screwing over its Clan Wars players in the 5th campaign.
This time around wargaming has changed the rules how you are able to receive the reward tanks. Instead of carrying on like the last 4 campaigns Wargaming has now introduced the 3rd measure, not only do you receive fame point, clan fame points but you will also get bonds depending on your personal fame points and the clan fame points. before as long as you were inside the limit of places wargaming had set with your fame points you can choose a tank but not this time !!! What is wrong with this you ask?
Well the at present, if you are inside the top 11k players by fame points but your clan, is not inside the top 100 clans you will not be able to earn enough bonds to buy the clan wars reward tank. Example : you are in place 5000 by fame points, this means you earn 700 bonds, your clan has 2700 fame points putting your clan in the place 309 which means you get a times 2 multipleier. So if the campagin ends today you would get only 1400 bonds, but you need 4000 bonds to get the tank. This means you are 2600 bonds short in getting the tanks. So the player who has played well is in the top 11k by a long way has no chance to get the tank unless he has bonds from playing alot of ranked battles or tier 10 games. It was only days before the campagin started was the rules given out, most players would have spent there bonds so did not keep them as there has neve been a requirement like this before.
Wargaming has advised that you have until the 15/1/18 to get enough bonds to buy the tank, this one month they have given players is after already playing a one-month long clan war campaign and over the holiday season when many players go away.
Wargaming is refusing to address this issue with reports from both the forums and support tickets saying they are not able to change any part of this.
In the last campaign, over 80,000 players and 4,000 clans took part.
Now in the 2nd week of this campaign and only 27,383 players & 665 clans are taking part (Information taken from wargaming alley of fame website as of 3/12/17
This is only third of players taking part and less than a sixth of clans playing.
